Team Notion’s development is under way and I am working on getting background elements nice. I want the style to match the characters and be detailed, but not too detailed so that the characters still stand out to the player.
I want to incorporate more layers in Team Notion that I had in Super Ubie Land. I really learned a lot during the development of Super Ubie Land and I am applying those lessons to Team Notion and I honestly think that this next project will be a major step up! My personal goal is to have each project noticeably better than the last. At at certain point, that may become much harder to achieve. but I feel like I still have a lot of room for improvement.
My goal is to have people look at Team Notion like it’s a cartoon come to life. This is something has has been achieved before in games like Rayman Origins, Muramasa the Demon Blade , and more . Those games are a great learning tool and will keep me on my toes during development of the game.
Well, enough rambling. I’m going to get back to work!
oh, and Super Ubie Land is heading to the Wii U early 2014! The name will be changed again, I will let everyone know what it is once I hear back from Nintendo!
